Everyone has heard the stories of the people that make a million dollars per day from Google Adwords. There are more stories floating around the internet about the potential of Google Adwords than almost any other topic. Is there really money to be made with Adwords or is this another get-rich quick scheme? Of course you can make plenty of money with Adwords. All you have to do is find out what you have to do and put in your best effort. Once this is done no one can stop you from getting actually rich with the help of Adwords. You have to be persistent and have to follow the rules of Google and not just sit idle and wait for a miracle to make you rich. This will assure a steady income from Adwords. First of all, let's look at what Adwords is and how you can make money with it. When you type in a search term into Google, you always see some sort of links on the side of the page. These are paid advertisements from people who are trying to sell you something. They all have a product and they have requested that whenever someone types in the keyword you typed, their ad shows up. Adsense is the same advertisers, except Google places the ads on websites throughout the internet. You have undoubtedly seen these Google ads on almost every website. The reason that websites host these ads for Google is that they get a share of the profits. Therefore, every time someone clicks on an ad, the website owner and Google make money. This is exactly how you can make money with Adwords. Start with getting lots of web pages with Adsense ads on them. This is going to help in increasing your potential. Decide a topic for your website and focus completely on it throughout the site. You should select a topic that interests you to avoid the confusion of what should be written on the website and to make your work interesting for you. Don't just select any topic that you like but first do a little research to find out the demand and supply of different keywords. You will find plenty of services to help you in doing this and making it easier for you to narrow down your list of topics and to find a not so overpopulated niche. A website covering a subject in general will have less chances of being found than the ones explaining smaller categories of that subject. For example, a website about football will have fewer visitors as compared to a website which will break down this wider category on the topic of football into smaller categories and talk about lets say, a particular team. This increases your chances of being found. Once you figure out a topic, start writing quality content for your site. Make as many pages as you can. Once you've got a few pages, don't just automatically start putting Google ads on your page. If you wait for a while, Google and other search engines will rank you higher. They don't want to see that you're a commercial website right off the bat. Focus on getting some traffic and then paste the ads onto your pages. It is a long-term approach but it will definitely pay off. Adwords definitely helps you in making money but you have to remain focused and be persistent to earn more and more through it.
