One of the best things you can do in order to find quality leads is research. So many people get excited about a lead company or some nice offer for really cheap leads, but that doesn't mean it is going to be worth your time. Sometimes you contact leads and you might as well have called the top ten most angry people in the world. They get called over and over again and start yelling at you and you begin to question why you are dong this and if you will ever get any good results. Eventually it can get so bad that you don't want to talk to anyone on the phone and wish they never pick up the phone. If it is getting that bad then you need to take a step back and consider what you are doing. You have to know who it is you are buying a lead from so see if you can talk with reliable people in the company that can give you solid information about the company. See if you can talk with other clients that have had good experiences and pick their brains to see if it is worth your time. Look to get honest opinions from other places like public or government figures that are authoritative sources on your potential company. You should look to the Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General of the state they are from to figure out if they are trustworthy. One thing to remember is just because you don't sell a lead, doesn't mean you can't sell them later down the road. You can always sell someone if you build a strong enough relationship and brand with them. Stick with your leads because it can take numerous calls before you actually sell them. Not only could there be need for calls, but look to provide free products or emails to help build a relationship and get to know them. This can be worth everything for you and your company. So finally, get to know where your leads are coming from and how they are getting to you because you need to make sure you can build a relationship with them. If they are open to doing that then you can help to qualify them over time with emails or products and build a relationship so they will eventually buy from you when the time is right.
