After a lot of "printer searching," we finally came across the Samsung CLP 300 Toner. When we seen this printer, we automatically knew that we were getting our hands on a bargain. You see, this printer had everything we could have ever hoped for. So far, we have had four different printers in our lifetime. Those printers claimed to be high quality, sure, they were good, but they just weren't what we were looking for. The Samsung CLP 300 has really lived up to its expectations and has a lot to offer. When we first got this printer, we put the driver CD into our computer and a quick installer program popped up. We opened up the Printer Setup Utility and it was immediately recognized as being the CLP 300. The printer features of the Samsung CLP 300 is fairly basic as you have choices of draft, normal and best. You will also find a setting for Color of Grayscale. Would you be amazed if we told you it can print on thirteen different paper types? It can print on Color Paper, Thin, Thick, Plain Paper, Bond, Card Stock, Labels, Transparency, Preprinted, Recycled, Cotton and even Archive Paper. Did we mention that this Samsung CLP Toner is a fast printer? That's another thing you will be astonished over. We don't know about you, but when we print, we don't want to sit there waiting for what seems like forever. This printer will definitely not keep you waiting long at all. The size of this computer is very small, which means it will not take up much space on you desk. Gone are the days when you have to fight for space all because of a big printer in your way. The printer only weighs thirty pounds and that should speak for itself. The design of this printer is really nice. However, we do not recommend you plugging this computer into a battery backup system. This is because many of the laser printers will go over those standard load levels of the UPS systems. It holds anything from 3X5 cards to the legal-sized sheets. Take note that the tray expands out in order to hold those longer sheets.
