Do you enjoy making scrapbooks, have a child at school with a lot of projects to do, make your own greeting cards or just love to craft in general? If the answer to any of those is yes you may want to hear about a wonderful machine called the Cricut Expression.

Ideal for personalizing your scrap books, school projects, decorating, card making and so much more. Perhaps the greatest thing about it is you do not have to have a computer to use it. Even though it has the appearance of a printer it does not need a pc, and since there are still some people out there that do not have computers this makes it accessible for everyone. The machine requires cartridges that are made just for it, which have the letter and shape designs on them.

All you do is decide what you want and the Cricut will cut it for you. When you purchase it, it comes with two cartridges (one font and one shape) and a cutting mat. When you want to add to your cartridge collection they cost about $35. Do not worry about being limited by the cartridge designs " there are 78 and will probably be more still in the future.

There is software that can link a computer to the Cricut should you have one. This software called Cricut Design Studio offers users the chance to design fonts on your computer and then when you are finished sends the designs to the Cricut to cut them. There is a starter kit to help get the optimum out of the machine as well as particular sized paper and vinyl.

For those expert and experienced crafters there is a marvelous addition called the Jukebox. This enables users to use up to six cartridges at once instead of having to swap them one at a time between shape and font. As the Cricut can take three Jukeboxes this means up to 18 cartridges. Based on all of this there can be no doubt the Cricut is a must have amongst any level of crafters!
