It's hard to make ends meet when you're new in a game, particularly on World of Warcraft. There are all sorts of items you need to get ahead in the game. I remember being so desperate for gold that I started looking around on the internet for ways to make gold, tips and tricks, any guide at all that would help me with my gold problem.
I stumbled upon Secret Warcraft, on the front page was one of Jonathan Kenins podcast where he was giving a weekly review of good gold makers in the game. I learned some new terms from Secret Warcraft, Limited Supply items and cross-faction trading. I also learned that spending hours of my time is not necessary, doing boring things just to make gold is completely optional. Limited Supply items and cross-faction trading makes gold-making so much easier on World of Warcraft! First, get a list of the limited supply items available on World of Warcraft. SecretWarcraft.com has an excellent and complete list available, it's organized by zone and location and it has a profit potential per item, so you can get started on your limited supply trading as soon as possible. Having that list in hand, you can proceed to monitor your server's auction house. Double check which limited supply items are selling for a lot, and which ones are not good enough to make a profit on, that way you won't end up wasting money on items that you won't be able to sell for a decent profit. When you have determined which items will get you the most gold, it's time to go shopping! Go and visit the vendors with your empty bags, buy a bunch of the Limited Supply items, the best ones to go for are Alliance exclusive items like Pattern: Black Whelp Tunic, Pattern: Black Whelp Cloak, Pattern: Raptor Hide Belt. Or the Horde exclusive items like Recipe: Crispy Bat Wing, Pattern: Raptor Hide Harness, Formula: Enchant Chest - Lesser Mana. With these items, good gold profit is pretty easy if you do cross-faction trading, which means you're basically selling Alliance exclusive items to the Horde auction house and vice versa.
