Leveling a character as quickly as possible can be the goal for players for many reasons. Maybe they want to catch up to one of their friends or family who are playing, or perhaps they have already leveled on character to 80 and want another, either way, they want to level as quickly as possible. This article will give you some tips and tricks as to how you can do this more effectively.

Questing

One thing that you must do if you want to level quickly and efficiently is run quests. In fact you should run as many as you can find. Fill your quest log with as many quests as you can find then head off into the wilderness to do them.

The secret that make questing so much more efficient is to use an add-on that places a directional arrow at the base of your screen. At the end of this email I've included a link to a place you can download your own arrow add-on.

Efficiency

In order to be most efficient with your time you need to combine questing with grinding. If you kill your way to and from quests you'll not only add massively to your experience, but you'll also add to your bank balance. Killing your way to and from quests also saves a heap of time in the long run.

Quest in Groups

Unless you have a high level friend to run you through instances forget about group quests. They are a time sink and slow down you progress. Group quests are intended for more than one player and we all know how you can get stuck waiting for someone to show up etc. Groups are ok for the high end but when you are speed leveling use caution.

Quest Levels and Other Zones

Do not be in the mindset that you have to complete every quest in a zone before you can move on to another. In fact I encourage a bit of moving around. If the quests in one zone are getting a bit hard and you are dying quite a bit try moving to an adjacent zone that has some lower level quests. You can shoot through those and then come back for the harder ones when you have leveled a bit.

Rest and Relax

Whenever you log out or leave the game, do so in a capital city or an inn. By doing this you'll get a boost of rested experience which will give you a massive boost when you return to play.

If you use these simple basic rules of power leveling you will find that the levels fly by much faster than you would have thought.
