Hey, who doesn't like a party? Club Penguin players sure do with parties on the site scheduled nearly every month. Sometimes, especially during the summer, there are even two different parties and major events per month and all the servers get crowded with partying penguins. One of the most anticipated parties each year is the Club Penguin Medieval Party. It has a medieval theme, complete with knights, castles, princesses and more. Everything you'd expect is there and most of the different rooms in Club Penguin are completely decorated for the big event. The first Club Penguin Medieval Party was held in May, 2008 and then was repeated in 2009.
The first Medieval Party occurred between May 16, 2008 and May 25, 2008. It was one of the biggest parties in Club Penguin history. Most of the rooms in the game were decorated. As with most parties on Club Penguin, one of the most exciting things was the free item giveaway. In 2008, there were two items that penguins could get for free. The first free item was the Squire Tunic at the Dock. The second free item was a wizard hat at the Lighthouse. The wizard hat was first released in the 2006 Halloween Party. The 2008 Medieval Party was also the first party to include the exclusive room which is only available during special events. It was a Treehouse Fort and it was at the Forest. Here are some of the Top Attractions from the 2008 Club Penguin Medieval Party The Dragon One of the most popular attractions was a dragon that appeared inside the Mines. The Switchbox 3000 device, which normally appears in the Stage was moved to the Mine to control the dragon. Magic Mirror There was a giant magic mirror on top of the ski hill. You could ask a question and then click on the mirror to get a "magic" answer. Special Costumes In the Club Penguin clothing catalog you could purchase medieval costumes like a dragon, knight and princess dress. There were also some special player card backgrounds made just for the Medieval Party. TreeTop Fort This room was a special room that only appeared during the Medieval Party. It was only available for members and was a place to hang out and enjoy the party. One fun feature was a hole in the tree where random colored Puffles would appear and make faces at you. The 2009 Medieval Party The 2009 edition of the Club Penguin Medieval Party was from May 8, 2009 through May 17, 2009. It featured many of the same events and activities as the original party and included a few more, including a special quest to obtain a golden suit of armor.
