One shortcoming of the Dell is its less-than-average battery life. A slightly more costly choice might be the Hewlett Packard computers. The HP mini laptops tend to be somewhat more costly than the other choices mentioned here. Part of the reason for this is that HP computers usually offer more choices than other computer manufacturers. Because, they offer more, there is a reasonable chance that they will have options that you may be looking for in your mini computer. One option that the HP offers is a full sized keyboard. The last of the five top selling small laptop computers is the Sony VAIO. The Sony VAIO has a larger than average 8.9 inch screen and comes equipped with a considerable 80GB hard drive. The VAIO weighs in at just over three pounds, and comes with Windows Vista home Basic. These are just five computers from the small mini laptop computer sub-category. However, these five computers are amongst the top selling models. The more popular models tend to be worthwhile.
