All of those people who were hoping to get their hot little hands on the Samsung Eternity A867 on November 4, 2008, were greatly disappointed as AT&T could not deliver the new handset on that date. As soon as their shipment arrives, the Samsung Eternity will be sold. If you want to purchase the Samsung Eternity A867 for the features it has, it will be well worth the wait. The features of this cell phone include the following:

If you want to purchase this amazing little handset for its features, this wait will be worth it and it won't dissapoint. Let's take a look at some of the offerings:

An expandable Memory: MicroSD (Transflash) up to 16GB, Internal Memory: 200 MB, MediaFLO, GPS navigation via the AT&T Navigator, HSDPA and 3G, Bluetooth 2.0, Full QWERTY keyboard, 3 megapixel camera, Accelerometer, TouchWiz UI, 3.5mm Headphone Jack, 3.2"x400x240 TFT Resistive touchscreen and Auto-rotation.

The AT&T carrier will also be able to get the handset. It'll cost you $99 after a $50 mail-in rebate, meaning your upfront cost (before rebate) is going to be $149. You can customize your cell phone with widgets that are specially designed for it. The handset has a 3.2-inch wide touchscreen, with haptic support. You'll get a subtle vibration that will confirm your selections as well. It does have one slight drawback, in that the chrome and black exterior will show smudges and fingerprints.

First impressions of the Samsung Eternity A867 Plus? When you first look at it, the Samsung Eternity A867 Plus looks really nice and clean, with the back of the phone having a "brushed metal" texture. However, it's not really brushed metal, but a plastic cover. The camera that's included does not have a flash or portrait meter, which may be disappointing to you. It does have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, so you can definitely listen to your music.

Another fantastic feature of the Samsung Eternity is the Touch Wiz UI. It seems that right now, the phone is lacking in widgets but Samsung is supposed to release more of these in the fall. The easy access Sound Profiles widget is there with a calculator and a Sound Profiles widget for Bluetooth. This Bluetooth menu is very simple to use. The regular menu contains the following: YellowPages, My Stuff, Messaging, AT&T GPS, Address Book, and more.

Keyboard and messaging This cell phone can use MMS, AIM, Yahoo!, SMS, IM, and MSN. It does helphave mobile e-mail, but right now, it's limited to POP3 basic providers. The T9 feature is included on the nice and roomy keyboard, but it's very inaccurate. A regular number pad is also available on the phone for handwriting recognition and texting.

The Samsung Eternity is stylishly sophisticated and is a great option for those people who crave not only a full experience in touch technology but also the latest entertainment options. The top 3G/HSDPA device is for those that not only want immediate access to the Internet but they want to receive the very latest in entertainment. This cell phone has an on-board accelerometer as well as a full touch QWERTY keypad that has vibration responsiveness along with a crisp 3.2" display that makes web surfing a pleasure. Once you have tried this cell phone, you will be hooked on it!
