The Canadian company RIM (Research in Motion) that makes the BlackBerry, or as it's been dubbed because of its addictive properties, the 'CrackBerry', is a worldwide phenomenon that's catapulted into the stratosphere of the global marketplace. According to a recent press release, RIM earned $3.4 billion in the last quarter of their fiscal year, which ended in February, 2009. In case you didn't get that last sentence, I repeat, they earned 3.4 billion dollars in the 3 month period from December through February! Obviously, they're doing something right.
