Since its birth, World of Warcraft has never been updated as much as with the last Wrath of the Lich King update. Northrend is considered the most huge addition to the game making WOW players interested in checking what the new continent offers. At the same time, they do not want to fall behind their colleagues in terms of leveling because of the time lost exploring the new land. The job of doing so would not be easy unless they know what to expect or use an alliance leveling guide.

Knowing that Northrend has loads of quests added and a huge area with two starting zones, one would expect leveling through it to require more time and research than it used to be before.

Although both Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord are the starting zones for Northrend, leveling time with Borean Tundra is faster. Unlike Howling Fjord, Borean Tundra is faster to cross and walk through and thus, provides an easier sequence of leveling events. On the other hand, Howling Fjord has more new stuff and would inspire you more technically.

You will be able to find quests in less time than in Outland as most of the quests in Northrend come in sequence and are related to each other. Getting information about NPC's you need to deal with or the way you need to go through will drop significantly the time and the effort needed to finish these long chain quests.

Daily quests can be completed in Northrend starting level 72. This means that you will no more need to grind to reach your next level. Just do the daily quests and gain more XP. You should do these daily quests only if you reach Icecrown Glacier and you are still not level 80 as doing them before will reward you with little XP.

Given it is full of new content that can be explored in many new exciting ways, leveling in Northrend will take you more effort and time but, at the same time, will give you more pleasure and fun.
