There used to be some disagreement over the reality of global warming, no longer. At this point in time all evidence points to the reality of global warming. It's time to stop avoiding the issue and time to start finding alternatives to fossil fuel energy. Alternative energy sources are absolutely available and can easily be harnessed to produce clean energy and help manage the problems we are facing due to global warming.
Look around you. Amidst all the technological advancements, you will still be amazed at how nature provides for all the needs of mankind. But through the years, this has been overlooked and taken advantage of. This resulted to the energy crisis that we have now. But you cannot turn back the time to undo the damage. The best thing that you can do is to help resolve the problem or reduce it even with your own little means. It's great to say, it's time to do your part, but many people don't have any idea what alternative energy sources are available to them. There are quite a few alternatives to fossil fuels, including energy from the sun, water, even the earth itself. Look underneath. Did you know that the heat coming from the ground can also be turned into energy resources? There are holes that are being drilled in certain regions to find steam that are being produced by the heat underneath. The steam is purified to be used as power to electric generators. If you live in a windy area you can certainly take advantage of the power of wind. Residential wind power can provide plenty of energy to run your home. If you find there's not enough wind to fully power your house you can certainly use it as a supplement to regular power or other alternative energy sources. Water is a powerful source of energy. Anyone who's been caught in a riptide or had a wave crash over them can attest to this. Using water for energy takes a little more effort, as you have to have plenty of moving water, and you have to have a way to harness it. This can be a great source of energy on a community level. As global warming keeps getting worse, there's no better time to start finding ways to use eco friendly sources. These sources of energy are readily available, will renewable, and will provide clean energy helping to improve the environment and maybe undo some of the damage we've done thus far. It may take a while before an entire overhaul of our system takes place, but you can begin making changes on a personal level now. You can add ways to use renewable energy to your home, whether it's adding solar panels, a residential wind turbine. If these options seem unrealistic you can also make your purchasing decision with the company's use of renewable resources in mind. Taking some personal responsibility in the choices you make is a great step. You can make choices that limit the amount of waste you and your family are putting in the landfill. This means choosing recyclable materials, and then actually recycling them. Grow a garden, buy local produce. Buy products that don't contain chemicals that continue to increase the problems in the environment.
