Have I told you just how much I love Christmas? What's not to love? Fun in the snow, friends and family, a nice cup of cocoa or buttered rum, and some turkey, there's nothing better. Did I forget something? Oh, yeahpresents! I love opening presents, that bit of a flutter in your stomach you get when you open that perfect gift, and the thrill that comes when you know you've done the same for a loved one. The hardest part is narrowing down what you want each Christmas, but here are my top ten Christmas gifts.
Number one - a snowblower. I hate shoveling snow. It takes up so much of your day that you could be spending with your family. Most of the time it's totally useless anyways since it just starts snowing after you finish anyways. A snowblower would be awesome. It would probably take up a lot of wrapping paper though. Those new satellite radios are pretty neat. Where I live there are only two radio stations and neither of them are very good. It would be nice to have a good selection of music to listen to while driving. While you're at it, how about some new floor mats? These ones have seen better days. Mmmm, food. I love those baskets that you can get with all the goodies in them. It?s like ten presents in one! I like putting some of the stuff away so when the February doldrums sink in I can open up something yummy to take my mind off it. The ones with lots of sweets and chocolates in them are definitely the best. I?m not greedy you know. I like giving presents as much as I like getting them. The thing is though; I?d rather make something most times then buy something. I?m not cheap or anything, it just seems so much more personal, and most things don?t take too much time to do either. Scapbooks, picture frames and knitting scarfs are my top picks. But you can?t do that for everyone can you? Especially kids and teens, they set store on what new cool gadget they get every Christmas. Computer or video games are certainly popular, as well as the latest MP3s and IPODs. It?s hard to keep up sometimes. Usually in amongst the gadgetry I?ll throw in something old school, like art supplies or playdough just to see how it goes over.
